How guides are researched
Guides use primary sources where available, including federal moving guidance, regulations, carrier documents and agency resources. Each source is linked near the claim it supports. We distinguish a general rule from a fact about one shipment and note when a record cannot establish a claim on its own.
Topic and service scope
The editorial focus is the transport leg of a household move: equipment, line-haul methods, custody handoffs, terminals, vehicle shipping, storage in transit, dispatch changes, delivery access and final shipment records. A page may discuss a related booking or service choice when it affects transportation, but the site does not say it operates or sells the service.
Corrections and dated guidance
Rules, agency pages and service procedures can change. Readers should check current source pages and their own written agreements. Corrections should identify the guide, the statement at issue and a supporting record or official source so the page can be reviewed.
About the publisher
Move Network publishes this informational guide. Content does not replace the contract, current government requirements, legal advice or a carrier’s written response for a particular shipment.
